Footnotes
ASSUME NOTHING went to the front, showed the way on the inside, responded well when asked on the far turn, came out under a left-handed crop in upper stretch, turned back the threat of SARA'S SHAMAN into the final furlong and held under strong urging to mark the end of the Aqueduct era. TIZMARKUS raced in the three path on the first turn, prompted the pace on the outside of the leader, vied in the two to three path while asked on the far turn, chased the winner in the stretch and narrowly earned the place. SARA'S SHAMAN went around the first turn in the four path, stalked the pace on the outside, chased in the three then four path on the far turn, was driven into the stretch in the five path, loomed a threat while remaining on his inside lead into the final furlong, pursued the winner while continuing on his inside lead to the finish and just missed the place while narrowly earning the show. TRUSTY RUSTY was hustled from the gate, traveled around the first turn in the two path, was well placed just off the pace, chased inside to the two path on the far turn, pursued the winner in the stretch and just missed the trifecta. SHARP SPARK was reluctant to load, dropped back under urging early, went around the turns in the two to three path, moved out in upper stretch and improved position. LIFE AND LIGHT was hustled from the gate, went around the first turn in the five path, settled off the pace, was urged along in the three then four path on the far turn and failed to rally. PEEK went around the turns in the three then two path and failed to threaten. CONCORDE SPIRIT had his head turned at the start and was off slow, spotted the front several lengths, dropped to the rail early on the first turn, settled at the rear, was urged along while shifting from the three path to the five path on the far turn and was no factor. CENTAVO went around the turns in the four path and failed to respond. HIGH TIDE bumped with a rival at the start, dropped back under urging early, saved ground at the rear, moved to the two path outside the five-sixteenths pole and faltered then was eased in the final furlong but walked off.
