Footnotes
MEMORIZED brushed outside of the gate at the start then was squeezed back between horses, went around the first turn in the two path, settled on the outside but with cover, was roused while moving from the two path to the four path late on the far turn, rallied outside to gain the advantage while still on her inside lead in upper stretch, swapped to the proper lead outside the eighth-pole then dropped in while going clear, responded well in the final furlong and held under a strong hand-ride to the finish. SWEET LITTLE LILA (IRE) broke out a bit then bumped with a rival, settled nicely on the inside, saved ground through the far turn, moved to the two path into upper stretch, was blocked behind four foes near the three-sixteenths pole, altered to the outside of those rivals outside the furlong marker and finished with good courage to secure the place but lost her best chance at the victory. ALIBI bumped with rivals on both sides at the start then was squeezed back, saved ground on the first turn, came off the inside late on that bend, settled at the rear with cover, shifted from the two path to the four path while roused on the far turn, moved out under a drive outside the furlong marker and improved willingly to get the show. GERMANTOWN was restless loading and in the gate, angled in before the opening bend, raced in the two path on that bend, settled on the outside but with cover, was asked on the far turn, dropped back when a foe came out in front outside the quarter-pole and was taken in hand while losing position, was asked for her best in upper stretch and lacked the needed response while passing tired foes. BRAMBLE BLAST was taken back early then moved in, saved ground while rated just off the pace and tugging at the bit, moved off the rail late on the far turn, was roused in the three path into the stretch, made a bid between horses at the three-sixteenths pole, dropped back into the final furlong and weakened. OSCAR BOUND broke in then bumped with an opponent, dropped from the four path to the three path early on the first turn, stalked the pace on the outside, made a bid in the two path on the far turn, took the lead near the quarter-pole, lost the advantage under a drive in upper stretch, dropped back into the final furlong and tired. ALWAYS READY went to the front, dropped from the two path to the inside very early on the first turn, showed the way down the backstretch, was asked near the seven-sixteenths pole, vied inside under urging on the far turn, lost the lead at the quarter-pole and gave way.
