Footnotes
ARMY GAL tracked the pace on the outside then in the four path on the turn, was asked outside the quarter-pole, gained to make an outside bid in upper stretch then took the lead, responded well in the final furlong and proved best under strong urging. COLLECT THE DATA was hustled from the gate, moved to the lead after going a sixteenth of a mile then set the pace under pressure to her outside, moved from the inside to the two path early on the turn, was given her cue inside the five-sixteenths pole, lost the advantage into upper stretch, kept on well in pursuit of the winner in the final furlong and willingly earned the place. JACKSON'S DIXIE was hustled from the gate, showed speed then pressed the pace on the outside, vied in the three path while asked for more on the turn, took the lead into upper stretch, lost the advantage to the winner outside the furlong marker and weakened while clear for the show. MAJESTIC RETURN had her head turned at the start and was off slow, moved up to race just off the pace near the nine-sixteenths pole, saved ground on the turn, was asked inside the five-sixteenths pole, chased into upper stretch and came up empty. SOHANA stumbled at the start and was off slow, dropped well behind the rest of the field, was roused in the two path on the turn and failed to respond.
