FORTUNA MIA showed the way in hand three paths off the rail down the backstretch, tucked inside through the turn coming under coaxing at the five-sixteenths, spun just off the inside into upper stretch, edged clear to the eighth pole, dug in under late threat and held on to prevail. ADRIAN three to four wide in pursuit, came under a ride at the three-eighths marker, went eight to nine wide into upper stretch, offered up late foot and latched on the leader as she hit the wire, missing at the end. PURLOIN chased eight to nine paths off the inside down the backstretch before tucking inside into the turn, came under encouragement three furlongs out, went six wide into upper stretch and kicked on belatedly to the finish. BABY SASSICAIA four then three wide in pursuit, came under coaxing at the three-eighths pole, angled out seven wide into upper stretch, offered up a mild bid. LOOKS FIRST chased six paths off the inside down the backstretch and then three wide through the turn under coaxing from the three-eighths marker, tipped out four to five wide into upper stretch, weakened in the late stages. CARARRA chased six paths off the inside down the backstretch before tucking three wide into the turn, came under urging with three furlongs to run, went six wide into upper stretch, got eased home through the final sixteenth to the finish. SIGHT TO SEE chased just off the inside and then along the inside coming under a ride midway on the turn, cornered just off the inside into upper stretch and tired. MOON CACHE chased four to five paths off the inside down the backstretch and then just off the inside through the turn, came under coaxing three furlongs out, swung four wide for home and tired. BEIRA coaxed from the gate, chased eight paths off the inside down the backstretch, tucked five then four wide into the turn, briefly tucked three wide and was placed to a protective hold nearing the five-sixteenths, got eased up into upper stretch before being pulled up straightened away, then was attended to and vetted on track and subsequently transported off the course via the equine ambulance.
