RED MILLER coaxed from the gate, advanced after the break to establish narrow command just inside six furlongs to run, settled in hand along the inside under pressure from DEW to the outside, remained patiently handled and shook off that rival set down taking the inside route into upper stretch and coming under pressure now from the runner up, dug in under a drive as that rival latched on outside a furlong out, gamely fended off that foe to repel the challenge and inched away to the finish kept to task. SERGEANT CAPPS led briefly early on before chasing four then three wide from just off the leader, came under coaxing advancing on that rival at the five-sixteenths, swung five wide into upper stretch, dug in under a drive latching on to the outside of the leader a furlong out but was ultimately rebuffed to the finish in the late stages. METATRON hustled from the gate, chased three to four wide under a ride from the five-sixteenths, angled out six to seven wide into upper stretch, offered up a mild kick. AERATE chased along the inside and then just off the inside under coaxing from the nine-sixteenths, took the inside route into upper stretch and offered up a mild bid. PARTY WITH SMARTY chased just off the inside until tucked inside half a mile from home, came under coaxing and tipped out three wide at the five-sixteenths, angled six wide into upper stretch, offered up a mild bid. DR. INSEL broke out at the start, chased four paths off the inside down the backstretch and then just off the inside through the turn coaxed along from the three-eighths marker, angled five wide at the head of the stretch, weakened in the drive. DEW pressed the pace from the two path under encouragement with five-sixteenths to go, got shaken off spinning three wide at the top of the lane, tired in the stretch.
