HEDGE THE RISK saved ground near the rear of the field remaining patiently handled until set down spinning just off the inside into upper stretch, angled in to the rail nearing the eighth pole and scraped the paint inside the leader inside that station rallying up the rail and was just up in the final jump to score, then got bumped in the next stride after the finish when LANDAUER came over. LANDAUER tracked the pace along the inside from mid pack, came under coaxing near the quarter pole and was let out taking the inside route into upper stretch, rallied to take command a furlong from home and was nailed on the wire. CATALINA CRUSH broke in at the start bumping PAPIAMENTO, dueled inside of KID KREESA from the get go, got let out spinning just off the inside into upper stretch, dug in under threat and was collared a furlong out, ran on to preserve the show honors on the wire. UNION EXPRESS settled tracking the front just off the inside from mid pack, came under coaxing near the quarter pole, angled five wide into upper stretch, kept on to the finish. PAPIAMENTO got bumped at the start by CATALINA CRUSH, who broke inwards, settled two to three wide just off the pace, came under coaxing at the five-sixteenths, angled five wide into upper stretch, offered up a bid a furlong out, then flattened out in the late stages. MAGNI raced just off the inside through the first turn and then three to four wide thereafter, came under encouragement three furlongs out, swung six wide into upper stretch and stayed on one paced to the finish. SANDERSON lunged at the break, chased two to three wide coming under coaxing at the three-eighths marker, went seven wide into upper stretch and offered no response. KID KREESA stumbled at the start, recovered to advance and duel from the two path with CATALINA CRUSH to his inside, remained patiently handled until set down angled four wide at the top of the stretch, then tired through to the finish.
