LOU coaxed from the gate, chased along the inside under a ride from three furlongs out, continued in the inside route into upper stretch, rallied up the rail to take command just outside the eighth pole, dug in under threat to the outside and gamely prevailed on the wire. FRIZZANTE chased four wide under urging from the seven-sixteenths, angled six wide into upper stretch, offered up a mild kick. MUGATU chased just off the inside coaxed along from the seven-sixteenths pole, angled five to six wide for home, offered up a mild bid. LEADING CONTENDER chased three wide under urging from the half mile pole, angled six to seven wide into upper stretch, stayed on one paced to the finish.
