BRAVE BEAR dueled from the two path with TRUE CONNECTION to his outside, shook off that foe a bit half a mile from home and showed the way through the turn coming under coaxing near the quarter pole, spun just off the inside into upper stretch, edged clear under a drive to prevail. DOOMED chased three then two wide under a ride from the five-sixteenths, angled four wide into upper stretch, offered up a mild kick. GOTTA GUY got brushed at the start by ALWAYS BE SMART, who broke outwards, chased three then two wide under urging from three furlongs out, swung four wide for home and offered up a mild bid. BRODERICK broke out a step at the start, chased four then three wide under coaxing from the three-eighths marker, went eight wide into upper stretch, weakened in the drive. BERNIE GOES BOOM chased along the inside coming under encouragement three furlongs from home, continued in the inside route into upper stretch, tired in the drive.
