Footnotes
MISS CALL brushed with a foe at the start, was taken in hand early, raced in the two path on the first turn, was rated towards the front, moved from the two path to the three path while roused late on the far turn, rallied to the lead into upper stretch, shook clear near the eighth-pole, responded well in the final furlong and held under strong urging. SALT PRINCESS moved up nearing the first turn then tugged rankly on the bit while under a strong hold, saved ground while rated just off the pace, turned into the stretch behind foes, was roused outside the three-sixteenths pole, chased into the final sixteenth, made a bid inside of the winner late and just missed while able to get the place. RIVER EMPRESS went around the first turn in the three path, was reserved on the outside, moved closer late on the backstretch, came under urging in the three then four path on the far turn, spun into the stretch in the five path and gained with good courage to get the show. KAREY was reserved on the inside, moved off the rail late on the far turn, turned into the stretch in the four path and lacked the needed kick. TWO BY TWO BY TWO rounded the first turn in the two path, was reserved near the back, raced in the three path while roused on the far turn, came out to the five path into the stretch and lacked the needed response. SMILING ROSIE was reserved in the three then two path, came under some urging on the far turn and failed to rally. PROBABLE CHOICE brushed with a foe at the start then was hustled to the lead, was taken under a very tight hold after getting to the front, showed the way on the inside while inside of an opponent, was let out on the far turn then asked, lost the advantage to the winner into upper stretch, dropped back into the final furlong and tired. AMERICAN MINK prompted the pace on the outside in the three then two path, was roused on the far turn and came up empty.
