BRYANT AND COOPER broke in at the start, saved ground on the first turn, moved off the rail late on that bend, was unhurried towards the rear, rounded the far turn in the three path while roused, came under a drive in upper stretch, moved out near the furlong marker and closed strongly to get up late and prevail. LOTUS PETAL was well placed just off the pace on the inside, moved off the rail while asked on the far turn, took the lead in upper stretch, led under a drive into the final sixteenth but was caught while just able to get the place. SILENT MELODY was taken in hand early then reserved in the two path, came under urging near the quarter-pole, found her best stride in the stretch and finished with good energy to just miss the place while clear for the show. PROUD MARY went around the first turn in the two path, was rated in the second flight, moved from the two path to the four path while asked on the far turn, chased under a drive into the final furlong and lacked the needed kick. TWIRLY settled on the inside, was roused on the far turn and failed to threaten. DANCIN JANE went to the front, showed the way on the inside, was asked near the quarter-pole, lost the lead while under a drive in upper stretch and gave way. ISLAND FOX was taken up after the start, went around the first turn in the two then three path, settled towards the rear, saved ground on the far turn, was asked near the quarter-pole and was no factor. SAUCY SIX was carried in at the start, went around the turns in the three to four path, turned into upper stretch in the six path and also was no factor. QUEEN ATLAS veered out at the start, showed speed on the far outside while taken under a tight hold, moved in nearing the first turn, raced in the three path on that bend, prompted the pace on the outside, chased in the two path on the far turn, dropped back in the three path into upper stretch and faltered.
