Footnotes
MOE EIGHTY EIGHT was taken under a tight hold early then rated just off the pace on the inside, drafted behind the leader on the far turn, shifted off the rail while asked into upper stretch, gained to get the lead inside the furlong marker and edged clear under a strong hand-ride to prove best. BEFORE THE WIND settled on the inside, shifted out to the three path while roused late on the far turn, turned into the stretch in the four path, made a bid outside the eighth-pole, dropped back into the final sixteenth and was outfinished while just able to get the place. OAT COUTOUR settled at the rear in the two path, was roused on the far turn, moved out in upper stretch and finished willingly to just miss the place while narrowly up for the show. ASKINGFORAFRIEND was hustled to the front, showed the way on the inside, was asked outside the quarter-pole, spun into the stretch under a pop of the crop, lost the advantage to the winner inside the furlong marker and proved no match then was caught for the trifecta. INSPEIGHTOFCHARLIE was taken under a snug hold early then tugged at the bit, rounded the first turn in the two path, settled towards the rear, was roused in the two then three path on the far turn, turned into the stretch in the four path and lacked the needed response. EGYPTIAN was hustled from the gate, stalked the pace on the outside in the two path, was given his cue on the final turn, spun into the stretch in the three path and tired. KLIMT MASTER raced in the path on the first turn, settled outside without cover, was roused in the three then four path on the far turn, turned into the stretch in the five path, drifted in inside the three-sixteenths pole and failed to respond.
