ST. BRIGID'S CROSS bobbled and was bumped at the start by ESSENCE OF FAITH due to pressure from BASEBALL LADY, vied from the three path early on with a pair of rivals before emerging with sole command, tucked to the two path and then near the inside through the turn coming under coaxing nearing the quarter pole, went just off the inside into upper stretch, edged away under a drive kept to task. PINKY BRIER broke out at the start carrying out a pair of rivals a path before being corrected, vied from the four path with a pair of foes to her inside briefly and then pressed the pace of the aforementioned foe three then two wide through the turn under encouragement from the three-eighths marker, spun three wide into upper stretch, ran on to chase the winner home. BASEBALL LADY broke out at the start bumping ESSENCE OF FAITH into ST. BRIGID'S CROSS, vied from the two path briefly before chasing just off the inside and then along the inside under prolonged coaxing from the half mile pole, angled four wide at the head of the stretch, was along well clear and best of the rest. SPIRIT FORWARD got carried out a path at the start by PINKY BRIER and in turn carried out MEGOWAN STREET, chased four to five paths off the inside down the backstretch and then just off the inside through the turn, went five to six wide into upper stretch and passed tired rivals. BACK TO KHALI struck the off side stall at the start, chased along the inside under a ride from the seven-sixteenths, cornered just off the inside into upper stretch, tired. MEGOWAN STREET got carried out a path at the start by SPIRIT FORWARD due to pressure from PINKY BRIER, chased six paths off the rail down the backstretch before tucking three wide through the turn ridden along from the seven-sixteenths, tipped five then four wide into upper stretch and tired. ESSENCE OF FAITH got bumped at the start by BASEBALL LADY and in turn bumped ST. BRIGID'S CROSS, chased four then two wide under urging from the seven-sixteenths, angled four wide for home and faltered in the stretch.
