ACCELERATED NEWS chased six paths off the inside down the backstretch and then three wide through the turn coming under coaxing at the three-eighths marker, swung six wide into upper stretch, dug in under a drive and was up in the last jumps to prevail. INTENTIOUS struck the near side stall at the start when breaking inwards and then bumped VALENTINE GIFT, chased just off the inside under a ride from three furlongs out, swung four wide into upper stretch and offered up a mild kick. GEOPOLITICS chased eight paths off the inside down the backstretch before tucking four wide through the turn coming under coaxing near the quarter pole, swung five wide into upper stretch, rallied to take command a furlong out, dug in under threat and was caught by a pair of rivals in the final strides to the finish. VALENTINE GIFT got bumped at the start by INTENTIOUS, who broke inwards, chased four then three wide under a ride from three furlongs out, went six to seven wide into upper stretch and kicked on belatedly to the wire. I'M KIDDING broke a half a beat slow and came under coaxing advancing to take command five and a half furlongs from home, showed the way in hand four paths off the rail down the backstretch before tucking to the two path through the turn, got ridden along with five-sixteenths remaining, spun just off the inside into upper stretch, dug in under threat and was collared a furlong out, then weakened through to the end. DAME CATHERINE chased along the inside coming under urging three furlongs out, angled three wide into upper stretch, made no impact. SECOND CHANCE broke out a step at the start, chased just off the inside under a ride from the three-eighths marker, continued just off the inside into upper stretch and tired.
