Footnotes
BREW PUB was well placed while moving in down the backstretch, raced in the three path while asked on the turn, moved to the four path late on that bend, rallied in the five path into the stretch, closed well to get the lead at the furlong marker then drew away under steady urging to prove much the best. CONCORDE SPIRIT was urged along on the far outside, went around the turn in the five path, remained on his inside lead in the stretch and improved to get the place. DOT'S DOLLAR was forwardly placed on the outside, ranged up to make a bid in the four path on the turn, took the lead at the quarter-pole, was put to a drive in upper stretch, lost the advantage to the winner at the furlong marker and weakened then lost the place while narrowly able to hold the show. QUIET WISDOM was urged along towards the rear, saved ground on the turn, turned into upper stretch under a drive then moved off the rail and improved position to just miss the trifecta. SIN NOMBRE bumped with foes on both sides at the start, settled off the pace, was roused in the three path on the turn, moved out in upper stretch, remained on his inside lead in the drive and lacked the needed response. DADS GOOD RUNNER tracked the pace, made a bid late on the backstretch, took a short lead in the two path midway through the turn, lost the advantage at the quarter-pole, dropped back into the final furlong and tired. BEACHWALKER broke in and bumped with a foe, dropped well behind the rest of the field, went around the turn in the two then three path and was no factor. PRINCE OF JOY bumped with rivals on both sides at the start and was bounced around some, raced well off the pace under urging, went around the turn in the four path and failed to threaten. FUNNY JOKE bumped with a foe at the start, chased the pace then dropped back near the nine-sixteenths pole, moved from the rail to the two path on the turn and failed to respond. FOR SOME REASON was away alertly, showed the way down the backstretch, vied inside on the turn, lost the advantage with three furlongs to run, dropped back into the stretch and faded.
