Footnotes
VETTRIANO moved in while going to the front then showed the way, vied inside of a rival while in the two path on the turn, responded well when asked at the quarter-pole, came under a right-handed crop while remaining on his inside lead in upper stretch, switched to a left-handed crop outside the sixteenth, continued on his inside lead to the finish and just held sway under strong urging. WORTHY CHARGE bumped with a rival at the start, settled off the pace, moved closer while asked in the four path on the turn, chased the winner into the final sixteenth, gained on that foe late and just missed while clear for the place. CALDO CANDY stalked the pace on the outside, chased late on the backstretch, made a bid in the three path on the turn, dropped back under a drive in upper stretch and weakened while clear for the show. CHILENO settled on the outside, was roused in the four path on the turn, turned into upper stretch in the five path and lacked the needed response. RE MARKABLY was hustled from the gate, established a good position just off the pace, saved ground while asked on the turn and came up empty. VEKOMA RIDES bumped with an opponent at the start, was urged along off the pace, traveled around the turn in the two path and also came up empty. ZIPPY MARK raced well back in the field, saved ground on the turn, moved out in upper stretch and was no factor. MAKES SENSE raced at the rear of the field, went around most of the turn in the two path then shifted to the three path and failed to threaten.
