NONNA LYNNE settled on the inside, was asked on the far turn, swung out into upper stretch, rallied outside in to the final furlong and closed strongly to get up in the final sixteenth and prevail. TONGUE TWISTER settled on the inside, was given her cue on the far turn, came out into the stretch, took a short lead just inside the furlong marker, led into the final sixteenth but was caught while clear for the place. SAIL WITH THE WIND went around the first turn in the three path, settled towards the rear, was roused in the two path on the far turn, turned into upper stretch under a drive and improved to get the show. CLEARWATER BEACH bumped with a foe at the start, rounded the first turn in the two path, settled at the rear, was roused in the three then four path on the far turn, brushed with a foe while coming further out into upper stretch, bumped with that same opponent outside the eighth-pole, held a good striking position in the final furlong but lacked the needed kick. GRACE AND GRIT went to the front, showed the way on the inside, was asked near the quarter-pole, spun off the rail into the stretch, led under a drive into the final furlong then was headed and gave way. BACKCHECK settled towards the rear while saving ground, faltered on the far turn and was eased but walked off.
