VELCAMP got bumped at the start by KEF and in turn bumped ONE BAD HABIT, chased along the inside coming under encouragement at the five-sixteenths, angled five wide into upper stretch, rallied to take command a sixteenth from home, then held sway in the late stages to prevail. SOUTH PHILLY SLIDE hustled from the gate, advanced to get at the throat latch on the leader near the half mile pole before easing off to chase inside, remained patiently handled pausing just before cutting the corner into upper stretch roused for the drive, rallied up the rail to issue a challenge inside the final furlong fighting on latched on the leader to the wire. GREYJOY broke out at the start trading a bump with MARIPOSA MOON, who broke inwards, chased three then four wide coming under encouragement at the three-eighths marker, went eight wide into upper stretch, ran on willingly through to the end. CAROLANNIE coaxed from the gate, raced four then three wide in aim of the leader, came under urging at the five-sixteenths, spun three to four wide for home, rallied to take command a furlong out, dug in under challenge from flanking threats and was caught a sixteenth from home, kept on to the wire. MARIPOSA MOON broke in and traded a bump with GREYJOY, who broke outwards, chased three then four wide under urging from the five-sixteenths, angled six wide into upper stretch, weakened in the late stages. CHOPPIN BROCKLEY showed the way in hand just off the inside patiently handled until set down spinning just off the inside at the quarter pole, dug in under threat and was collared a furlong out, then weakened through to the finish. ONE BAD HABIT stumbled awkwardly outwards at the start and was bumped by VELCAMP due to pressure from KEF, chased along the inside under a ride from the five-sixteenths, spun just off the inside into upper stretch and had no kick. LUCIANA'S HONOR chased just off the inside under urging from the five-sixteenths, tipped three to four wide into upper stretch and weakened in the drive. KEF broke in at the start bumping VELCAMP into ONE BAD HABIT, chased two then three wide and checked at the five-sixteenths when a bit in tight between foes, went six wide into upper stretch and weakened.
