Footnotes
OSCAR BOUND bobbled at the break and veered outwards, got corrected and showed the way crossing to the inside soon after the start, settled in hand along the rail and was lightly coaxed along midway on the turn, widened away to the quarter pole and took the inside route into upper stretch, received intermittent taps to the right shoulder to the eighth pole and went clear while in hand to prevail easily and comfortably at the finish. TAPIT BACK altered out at the break when PEACE OF GOLD broke outwards, chased three wide under a ride from the seven-sixteenths, angled five wide into upper stretch, proved no match for the top one while keeping on to secure the place honors. PEACE OF GOLD broke out at the start, chased along the inside under urging from three furlongs out, angled three to four wide into upper stretch, was no match for the top one, kept on to the finish well clear of the rest for the show honors. REST ASHORE stumbled at the start recovering outwards and forcing ROUGE GRANDEUR to check off her heels, chased just off the inside under encouragement from the three-eighths marker, swung four wide into upper stretch and weakened. ROUGE GRANDEUR broke a half a beat slow and then got checked off the heels of REST ASHORE, who recovered outwards from a stumble and conceded five lengths to the front before settling into stride, chased five then four wide under urging nearing the quarter pole, went five to six wide at the head of the stretch and tired.
