Footnotes
BOLT HOUSE bobbled at the start but broke towards the front, moved in while going to the lead, showed the way on the inside, responded well when asked near the quarter-pole, came under a right-handed crop in upper stretch, was given one last pop of the crop outside the sixteenth-pole then just held under a strong hand-ride to the finish. PRIVATE PROPERTY (IRE) was hustled from the gate, raced in the three path on the first turn, was rated outside without cover, came under urging in the three path on the far turn, made a bid outside of the winner coming to the quarter-pole, chased that foe determinedly in the stretch, gained in the final strides and just missed while clear for the place. GALATINA bobbled at the start but also broke towards the front, bumped with a rival early, tugged at the bit under tight restraint in the two path through the first turn, was reserved off the pace, saved ground on the far turn, moved out while put to a drive in upper stretch and finished willingly for the show. CLASSIC CARA rounded the first turn in the three path, was reserved off the pace with cover, went around the far turn in the three then four path, was roused in the five path into the stretch and improved for the last spot in the superfecta. NEW ATTITUDE (IRE) became keen under restraint early then was taken up in tight quarters along the rail, saved ground while rated under a snug hold, was asked to move up inside a foe coming to the half-mile pole then jostled with that rival, drafted inside on the far turn, was given her cue near the quarter-pole and lacked the needed response. FIRE AGATE was reserved in the two then three path, shifted to the four path while roused near the quarter-pole and also lacked the needed response. UNLIMITED SPENDING (JPN) settled at the rear while saving ground, shifted to the three path into the stretch, moved further out around the three-sixteenths pole and failed to threaten. KATERINA RISTOVA was taken up off heels into the first turn, raced in the four path on that bend, advanced on the far outside without cover, was asked in the four path on the far turn, floated into the eight path into the stretch and came up empty. TAFAANY prompted the pace on the outside in the two path, dropped back under pressure on the far turn and capitulated. BENGALESE bumped with an opponent early, saved ground on the first turn, was rated just off the pace, jostled with a foe nearing the half-mile pole, dropped back between horses into the far turn, went around that bend in the two path and had nothing left.
