Following an eight minute delay where TOES was unsaddled and then saddled once more due to an equipment issue, TOES bobbled forward at the break, tracked the leader along the inside from a loose pocket trip, came under encouragement at the five-sixteenths, took the inside route into upper stretch, rallied to take command a furlong from home, then edged away to the finish to prevail. BOURBON MILK PUNCH attended the leader to the outside three then two wide coming under coaxing near the quarter pole, spun three wide into upper stretch, dug in under a drive running on to secure the place honors. MY SHERRONA got away to an awkward beginning, established the front soon after the start and showed the way in hand just off the inside and then along the inside under the watchful eye of the aforementioned to the outside, came under urging at the five-sixteenths when that rival intensified the pressure, swung just off the inside into upper stretch, dug in under threat and was caught a furlong out, kept on to preserve the show honors on the line. ELLESMERE ISLAND three wide through the first turn, chased four paths off the inside down the backstretch before tucking to the two path through the far turn, came under coaxing three furlongs out, spun three wide into upper stretch and offered up a mild kick. LAYLANI LOU raced just off the inside through the first turn, chased four then three wide under a ride from the five-sixteenths, spun just off the inside into upper stretch, dug in to keep on but was outfinished. JUST JULES chased just off the inside and then along the inside under urging from the three-eighths marker, continued in the inside route into upper stretch and stayed on one paced to the finish. PINCH OF BOURBON raced just off the inside through the first turn, chased four then three wide under coaxing from three furlongs out, went five wide for home and offered no response. CLEOPATRA'S KEY just off the inside through the first turn, chased four then three wide under urging from the three-eighths pole, went five wide into upper stretch, offered no rally. KEY ACTRESS chased two then three wide under a ride from three furlongs out, tipped four wide at the head of the stretch, weakened in the late stages. PUTONAHAPPYFACE got bumped at the start by TIGHT LINE, chased two to three wide under encouragement from the five-sixteenths, angled three to four wide into upper stretch and had no kick. TIGHT LINE broke in at the start bumping the aforementioned foe, chased along the inside under a ride from the three-eighths pole, continued in the inside route into upper stretch and came up empty. DIVINE ROSE saved ground near the rear of the field, came under coaxing three furlongs from home, went six wide into upper stretch and made no impact.
