Footnotes
CHIEF LIAM coaxed from the gate, showed the way in hand three paths off the rail down the backstretch before being engaged by SOLO EMPIRE along the inside five and a half furlongs from home, dueled with that rival through to the three-eighths marker before shaking him off, came under coaxing at the five-sixteenths, spun three wide into upper stretch, edged away under a drive to the eighth pole, dug in and held clear to the finish. UNDISPUTED coaxed from the start, chased six paths off the inside down the backstretch and then five wide through the turn under urging from the three-eighths pole, went seven wide into upper stretch and ran on to secure the place honors. TOGA DAN broke out at the start bumping HEY TOBY, chased five then four wide under a ride from the seven-sixteenths, tipped six wide into upper stretch and kept on to the finish. SEBASTIANTHE FIRST bobbled at the break and was bumped by COME FULL CIRCLE, chased just off the inside under encouragement from the five-sixteenths, spun three wide into upper stretch and weakened in the late stages. HEY TOBY got bumped at the start by TOGA DAN, who broke outwards, chased five then four paths off the inside down the backstretch before heading four then three wide through the turn ridden along from the five-sixteenths, angled five wide into upper stretch, tired. SOLO EMPIRE coaxed from the start, chased along the inside forwardly placed early on before advancing to duel with CHIEF LIAM to his outside with five and a half furlongs to run, knocked heads through to the three-eighths marker when put to encouragement, got steadily shaken off through the latter portion of the turn and went two to three wide into upper stretch, then tired in the drive. COME FULL CIRCLE broke in at the start bumping SEBASTIANTHE FIRST, chased seven paths off the inside down the backstretch until tucked three wide at the nine-sixteenths, tucked inside through the turn, angled five wide into upper stretch and trailed throughout.
