Footnotes
EL GRANDE O was well placed just off the pace, saved ground for most of the turn then shifted to the three path outside the quarter-pole, was asked for his best in upper stretch, chased outside under a drive into the final furlong, gained into the final sixteenth and got up late under good handling. ACOUSTIC AVE chased the early pace then tracked the leader, brushed with a foe near the five-eighths pole, made a bid at the seven-sixteenths pole, vied in the three path on the turn, dueled outside of SPIKEZONE into the final sixteenth, held a short lead late but was denied while able to get the place. SPIKEZONE broke out at the start, moved in while going to the front then showed the way, vied inside of the runner-up while in the two path on the turn, was asked outside the quarter-pole, dueled into the final sixteenth, lost the advantage late and missed while well clear for the show. NOVA RAGS was awkwardly into stride and off a bit slow, settled well off the pace, went around the turn in the two path while roused and lacked the needed response. RUNNINSONOFAGUN was urged along on the outside, brushed with a rival near the five-eighths pole, was roused for more in the four path on the turn, spun into the stretch in the five path and came up empty. OVER AND OLLIE stumbled at the start and unseated the rider then was walked off after being apprehended by an out-rider.
