BRAVE BEAR was well placed in the two path, chased on the far turn, steadied behind horses in upper stretch then moved out, chased into the final furlong, gained into the final sixteenth and got up under strong handling to prevail. FRIZZANTE went around the first turn in the four path, was forwardly placed on the outside, chased in the four path on the far turn, gained to make an outside bid in upper stretch, took the lead outside the furlong marker, led into the final sixteenth but was denied while just able to hold the place. LEFTEMBEHIND was off slow and spotted the front a few lengths, went around most of the first turn in the three path then moved to the four path, settled on the outside, was roused in the four to five path on the far turn, turned into upper stretch in the seven path, chased outside into the final furlong, made a bid in the final sixteenth and just missed while clear for the show. WHO'S THE KING was hustled from the gate then bobbled, tossed his head while in the four then three path on the first turn, prompted the pace on the outside, was urged along in the three path on the far turn, took a short lead into upper stretch, lost the advantage to the runner-up outside the furlong marker, dropped back into the final sixteenth and weakened. CONFABULATION went to the front, showed the way on the inside, was given his cue near the five-sixteenths pole, lost the advantage into upper stretch, battled under a drive into the final furlong, dropped back into the final sixteenth and tired. VIGANO saved ground on the turns and failed to threaten. LEADING CONTENDER dropped from the two path to the inside on the first turn, settled off the pace, was urged along while moving from the two path to the four path on the final turn and failed to respond. DUNEDIN CAUSEWAY raced in the three path on the first turn, dropped back late on that bend, moved out early on the backstretch, retreated in the four then three path on the far turn and faltered then was eased in the final furlong but walked off.
