HONG KONG PHOOEY stalked the early pace on the outside under a good hold, then moved up three wide to prompt the pace on the turn, made a four wide bid leaving the turn to vie for command and edge clear by the sixteenth marker and then held on late to prove best under a drive. NEIGH BABY was off a step slow, chased the pace and was three wide on the turn while being coaxed along, came four wide off the bend and moved out in the lane to close well late but was too late. WIT STORM was well placed along the inside and under a good hold, waited patiently and moved off the inside and swung out five wide leaving the turn to make a bid but was out-finished late. BOD BEACH pressed the early pace and vied for command between rivals leaving the turn three wide and fought on to the sixteenth marker and faded late. LIFE IS GRAVY (IRE) was settled early on the outside and was four to five wide on the turn while racing greenly, came six wide into the lane and angled out farther nearing the furlong marker and then showed some late interest. FORT GRIFFIN set a pressured pace along the inside and then vied for command inside a duo but weakened in the final furlong. MO CURLS was off a step slow, settled along the inside, moved out to the two path on the turn, angled out leaving the turn and had no rally.
