Footnotes
PURLOIN settled on the outside, was roused in the four path on the turn, bumped with a foe into upper stretch, rallied to get the lead inside the furlong marker then moved clear under strong handling. ADRIAN bumped solidly with a rival at the start, settled on the inside at the rear while behind a foe, was taken in hand briefly while off heels with five furlongs to run, saved ground while still behind a foe on the turn, was roused near the five-sixteenths pole, moved to the two path outside the quarter-pole, turned into upper stretch just behind the vanguard, paused approaching the furlong marker, split foes inside that marker and jostled with a rival then finished with good courage for the place. BIG AIR was well placed just off the pace, saved ground on the turn, chased under a drive in upper stretch, made a bid into the final furlong but was out-kicked while just able to get the show. TOWER TWENTY TWO went to the front, showed the way on the inside of a foe, vied inside to the two path on the turn, was put to a drive in upper stretch, lost the advantage outside the furlong marker, jostled with a rival outside the sixteenth-pole and weakened then just missed the show. BABY SASSICAIA bobbled at the start but broke with the body of the field, was reserved off the pace, raced in the three path on the turn, bumped with a foe into upper stretch, moved out from behind horses into the final furlong and lacked the needed kick. CARARRA stalked the pace on the outside, was asked in the three to four path on the turn, made a bid late on that bend, took the lead under a drive outside the furlong marker, lost the advantage to the winner outside the sixteenth-pole and also weakened. THAT'S FUNNY bumped solidly with a rival at the start, was reserved towards the back, dropped to the rear in the two then three path on the turn, was roused in the four path into the stretch and failed to threaten. CIRCUIT COURT prompted the pace on the outside, was asked in the two to three path on the turn, battled under a drive into the final furlong, was taken up while dropping back in tight quarters outside the sixteenth-pole and capitulated.
