BEAU CHEVAL was taken in hand early, tucked from the three path to the two path on the first turn, was rated off the pace, drafted in the two path on the far turn, waited behind horses into upper stretch, altered out for room and was roused at the three-sixteenths pole, rallied to the lead coming to the furlong marker, went clear into the final sixteenth and prevailed under steady urging. BIG FROSTY made light contact with AGGRESSION at the start, became keen under restraint early, saved ground while tugging hard on the bit going around the first turn, was rated off the pace, saved ground on the far turn, was asked near the five-sixteenths pole, espied a tight inside opening into upper stretch, checked when lacking room along the rail at the three-sixteenths pole, moved to the two path around the furlong marker and finished willingly to get up for the place at the finish.
