LIFE'S DYNAMIC went to the front from the outside, relinquished the lead to BOSTON'S PHINEST with a half-mile to run, vied in the three path while outside that foe on the turn, responded well when asked at the quarter-pole, took a short lead in upper stretch, responded well under a strong hand-ride into the final sixteenth then was put to a right-handed crop and held while drifting out slightly in the end. QUEEN MARTINA (IRE) tossed her head early, settled with cover, went around the turn in the two path, was roused late on that bend, angled out in upper stretch, rallied outside in the final furlong and closed strongly but missed while up for the place. BOSTON'S PHINEST showed speed then pressed the pace on the inside of the winner, went to the lead with a half-mile to run, vied in the two path on the turn, was asked near the quarter-pole, lost the advantage in upper stretch, fought on with good courage into the final sixteenth but was outfinished while just able to get the show. ALYESKA settled in a good position on the inside, was asked on the turn, moved to the two path in upper stretch, bumped with SHADES OF JADE inside the furlong marker and finished willingly to just miss the show. FILLY FREEDOM settled at the rear of the field, saved ground while roused on the turn, turned into upper stretch under a drive, swapped back to her inside lead while angling out outside the sixteenth-pole and finished with late energy to just miss the superfecta. SHADES OF JADE tracked the pace on the outside while given cover, went around the turn in the two path, was given her cue at the three-sixteenths pole, bumped with ALYESKA inside the furlong marker, chased between horses into the final sixteenth and lacked the needed kick. SO SOPHIA (GB) bobbled at the start but broke towards the front, settled on the outside without cover, was roused in the three then four path on the turn, moved out some in the stretch and lacked the needed response. HEAT MISSILE (AUS) was rated off the pace, dropped back while traveling a bit awkwardly with five furlongs to run, moved from the inside to the three path while asked on the turn, suffered an injury in upper stretch and was pulled up then euthanized on the course.
