PINEAPPLE MAN coaxed from the gate to establish the front after the break, cut the pace from the three path down the backstretch under some pressure from SCREAMING UNCLE to the outside, tucked inside through the turn coming under encouragement near the five-sixteenths pole, spun just off the inside into upper stretch, edged clear under a drive to score. SMILENSAYCHEESE got bumped at the break by the lunging inwards INDIANQUEST, chased six to seven paths off the rail down the backstretch from mid pack, tucked four wide through the turn coming under urging with five-sixteenths to go, angled six to seven wide into upper stretch, offered up a mild kick to secure the place honors. SCREAMING UNCLE prompted the pace of PINEAPPLE MAN from the outside five paths off the inside down the backstretch and then just next door when tucked to the two path through the turn, remained patiently handled until set down angled three to four wide into upper stretch, dug in under a drive shaken off nearing the eighth pole, kept on to preserve the show honors on the wire. INTERLOCK EMPIRE chased six to seven paths off the inside down the backstretch until tucked to the two path five and a half furlongs from home, continued in the two path through the turn and then took the inside route into upper stretch, offered up a bid a furlong out, then flattened out in the late stages. RUNGIUS coaxed from the gate, chased just off the inside under prolonged coaxing from the half mile pole, angled four to five wide into upper stretch, weakened in the drive. OTTO NIPOTI struck the off side stall at the start, chased six paths off the inside down the backstretch and then three wide through the turn under urging from the seven-sixteenths marker, angled five wide for home and weakened in the stretch. HE'S GOT THIS coaxed from the gate, chased four paths off the inside down the backstretch and then just off the inside through the turn under coaxing from the five-sixteenths pole, spun three wide for home and tired. POLAR BEAR PLUNGE broke in a step at the start and bumped HIGH TIDE, chased five paths off the inside down the backstretch and then three wide through the turn under a long drive from the nine-sixteenths pole, went seven to eight wide into upper stretch and tired. HIGH TIDE bobbled and was bumped at the start by the aforementioned foe, chased just off the inside and then four wide through the turn ridden along from the seven-sixteenths marker, angled six wide into upper stretch and tired. LAUGHING BOY broke out a step at the start and was corrected, chased three to four paths off the inside down the backstretch and then just off the inside through the turn, spun two to three wide for home and made no impact. INDIANQUEST lunged inwards at the start bumping SMILENSAYCHEESE, chased two to three wide under a prolonged ride from the nine-sixteenths pole, angled four to five wide for home and made no impact.
