BIG HANDSOME bumped with ALL ABOUT SOUL just after the break, chased the pace on the outside, made a bid in the four path on the turn, took the lead coming to the quarter-pole, kicked clear in upper stretch and drew away under a drive into the final sixteenth then was eased up in the final strides while much the best. SPICY CHICKEN broke a half-step slow, was urged along off the pace, moved closer outside the five-eighths pole, went around the turn in the two then three path, was driven into the stretch in the four path and secured the place while no match for the winner. JUST YOU BABY chased the pace on the outside, went around the turn in the three then four path, was driven into the stretch in the five path and lacked the needed kick while clear for the show. CUT DOWN THE NETS chased the pace, saved ground on the turn, spun into upper stretch in the three path under a drive, moved out inside the furlong marker and tired. VINTAGE WIZ was urged along off the pace, dropped from the four path to the two path on the turn and lacked the needed response. OUR WARRIOR was restless in the gate, chased the pace down the backstretch, traveled around the turn in the three path, dropped back late on that bend and capitulated. FIVE GRAND angled in while hustled to the front then showed the way, was challenged while in the two path on the turn then asked around the five-sixteenths pole, lost the advantage to the winner outside the quarter-pole and gave way. EASTPOINTE stumbled badly at the start, was ridden along towards the rear, went around the turn in the four to five path and failed to threaten. CARTRIDGE broke a bit slow, was urged along at the rear, raced inside to the three path on the turn, came into upper stretch in the six path and was no factor. ALL ABOUT SOUL had his saddle adjusted behind the gate, bumped with BIG HANDSOME just after the start, moved in while urged along, dropped back with five furlongs to run, moved from the three path to the two path on the turn and failed to respond. ED CHARLES raced under urging near the back and was pulled up on the turn then transported off the track via equine ambulance.
