FAIRY GODMOTHER away at the tail of the field without incident, chased along the inside coming under a ride just inside five-sixteenths remaining, angled four wide into upper stretch, tipped out an additional path or two with three-sixteenths to go and closed well outside to overthrow the front inside the final seventy yards and inched away to the finish under her momentum to the wire. MIDNIGHTLOVEAFFAIR coaxed from the gate, chased along the inside down the backstretch and then just off the inside through the turn patiently handled until roused taking the two path into upper stretch, rallied to issue a challenge inside the final furlong, seized narrow and brief command inside the sixteenth marker and then got overtaken in the late stages and was forced to settle for the place honors at the end. SO SOPHIA (GB) three wide in pursuit, came under coaxing three furlongs out, tipped four wide into upper stretch, dug in under a drive running on willingly through to the finish to secure the show honors. SAMARTINA (FR) chased just off the inside and then along the inside near the rear of the field, got set down spinning three wide into upper stretch, kicked on belatedly to the wire. EMERALD EMBER coaxed from the gate, raced just off the inside in closest aim of the leader, came under a ride three furlongs from home, spun just off the inside into upper stretch, dug in under a drive battling for command through to the sixteenth pole, then got out-finished inside that station. MERMAID tracked the pace along the inside, got let out taking the inside route into upper stretch, dug in scraping the paint inside the aforementioned foe a furlong out, then weakened in the late going.
