ROSCOE GOOSE went around the opening half turn in the three to four path, settled off the pace, was roused in the three path on the far turn, came into the stretch in the five path, rallied outside into the final furlong and closed well but missed while able to get the place. PASS ON BY was taken back early then was rated just off the pace, saved ground on the far turn, was asked in the two path at the quarter-pole, chased under a drive in the stretch and narrowly earned the show. KIPROS was reserved in the two to three path, came under a drive into upper stretch, chased under a drive in the lane and just missed the show. HOUSE OF WAR broke awkwardly then bumped with a rival, was rated on the inside, saved ground through the far turn, was roused at the quarter-pole, chased in the stretch and just missed the superfecta. CHIEF OF PEACE was bumped at the start, raced under reserve while inside to the two path, came into the stretch in the four path and also lacked the needed response. AND THE RUNNER IS went to the front while dropping from the five path to the two path early, showed the way in hand, was asked while inside on the far turn, lost the lead into upper stretch and gave way.
