SIDEARM showed the way along the inside under heavy pressure from FRANKLIN DELANO, continued through the turn until shaking that rival off in the upper stretch, kept under a heavy drive to ensure victory over the late rally. SEQUENTIAL found forward position in the five path for the run up the backstretch, moved in to stalk the pace three wide through the turn, began to flatten in the upper stretch until finding the response needed to rally in the final furlong but came up just short. EZ ROLL bumped inner foe at the start, trailed distantly in the early stages, began making progress along the inside of the turn, passed a few more in the upper stretch before shifting out three wide at the three sixteenths, moved clear of the rest for the show award. LUZ DE GUIA raced not too far behind the pace in the early stages, saved ground through the turn before taking to the outside of the stretch and making an improving run. NUANCED found a forward position three wide up the backstretch, shifted inside to give chase through the turn, attempted a three wide move at the quarter but came up empty. FRANKLIN DELANO pressed the pace four wide travelling up the backstretch, steadily shifted into the two path before the turn while still maintaining pressure but faded soon after entering the stretch. GET A JOB ran amongst the middle of the pack two wide in the early stages, shifted inside as the rail opened up for the turn, floated out around the three eighths marker and weakened down the lane. PAUL'S RECOVERY was bumped by outer foe at the start, raced off the pace along the inside, moved into the three path around the turn but trailed at the three eighths, continued to retreated then on.
