SALVATION broke well and opted to shadow the pace from the inside, advanced two wide through the turn to be in range of the leader turning for home, took charge at the eighth pole and drew clear. FIGHTFORALLEGIANCE advanced in the four path to claim the lead shortly after the start, moved alongside the rail at the six furlong marker, began to open up a couple lengths through the turn before meeting a bid from SALVATION in the upper stretch, grudgingly gave way at the eighth pole, clearly second best. CHILI PALMER held position between foes at the break to be able to split runners soon after and sit close up to the pace, continued to stalk from the two path in the turn but began to flatten out after the turn for home. PRIVATE FLIGHT broke a step slow, trailed four wide for the run up the backstretch, began making steady progress at the seven sixteenths in that path for an improved finish. MR R T brushed inner foe at the start, settled three wide off the pace, took to the inside at the three eighths and continued alongside the rail past tiring foes. KNOWLEDGE SHARING found position two wide in the middle of the pack, backed off the pace along the rail for the turn, shifted four wide at the top of the stretch but came up empty. INSTANTLY broke swiftly and chose to relinquish command soon after, gave chase along the inside of the turn but began a slow retreat around the seven sixteenths marker. THATBOYAIN'TRIGHT brushed outer foe at the start, found a middle position three wide, trailed by the seven sixteenths, pulled up at the eighth pole and walked off.
