Footnotes
LEXINGTON PIKE was forwardly placed six wide in the early stages, stalked the pace four wide through the turn, received some shoulder taps turning for home to be up by the quarter, drew clear from the rest and geared down late. MONTE AVI settled in the two path, gained along the inside of the turn and shifted five wide entering the stretch, drove by the rest of the pack but was no match for the winner. WHITBY found forward position five wide early, shifted in two wide at the three eighths to pinch back RED MILLER, vied between runners until giving way at the quarter, flattened out down the lane but still held for the show award. GOOD BALI trailed the pack three wide in the early stages, came under a ride rounding the turn to rally along the outside of the stretch and improve his finish. THE OBLITERATOR bumped inner foe at the start, raced among mid pack four to five wide, came up empty in the stretch. RED MILLER gave chase along the inside, ranged up in the two path to press the pace going into the turn but got pinched back at the three eighths marker, shifted four wide in the upper stretch then back inside after passing fader before flattening out. MENTOR settled along the inside, passed tired foes in the stretch. MAGNUM'S MACROBRST raced off the pace, showed little. REBALANCING showed the way early along the inside, came under pressure from outer foes until yielding at the quarter, proceeded to weaken down the lane. JETER bumped outer foe at the start, pressed the pace between runners three wide, backed off from the pace and began a steady retreat at the three eighths.
