Footnotes
THREE THIRTEEN broke well and vied for early command from the two path, shook off challenger in the upper stretch while drifting out, finished firmly to hold off oncoming rivals at the wire. MOZAMBIQUE shadowed the pace between runners, backed off through the turn in order to reposition three wide at the top of the stretch, rallied well but just missed. RAZORCAT was a bit washy in the post parade, chased the pace form the inside, tipped out in the upper stretch and put together an impressive rally that came up just short. KUHNER stalked the pace four wide, swung outside turning for home, bumped with LORD CHATHAM in the upper stretch, proceeded to make a good run at the lead but came up short. LORD CHATHAM was forwardly placed three wide in the early stages, shifted out five wide at the top of the lane and bumped with KUHNER, continued to close some ground but was out-finished. SHARONS PHAROAH settled off the pace along the inside, shifted four wide for the final furlong but was unable to close. SICILIAN DEFENSE moved up to vie for command along the inside, surrendered after the quarter pole and faded down the lane. PRINTER'S ALLEY tracked the pace five wide in the early stages, took towards the outside at the top of the lane but was unable to put together a late run. NOBLE ONE trailed throughout, no factor.
