EPITAPH broke well for an early forward position, saved ground going into the turn to press the pace two wide, continued in hand until being asked at the three sixteenths to swiftly take charge, drew off proving much the best. RED STATE took charge along the inside, came under heavy pressure entering the turn, entered a drive at the five rounding the turn in an attempt to repel that runner but was unsuccessful and gave way at the three sixteenths. SEEKER'S HOPE brushed inner foe at the start, raced off the pace three wide, got brushed out by CELESTIAL GLAZE in the upper stretch, ran on five wide for the show award. SPECIAL OPS hit the gate at the start, raced off the pace between runners, angled out four wide rounding the far turn brushing into SEEKER'S HOPE in the upper stretch, split runners late but denied a spot on the board. CELESTIAL GLAZE squeezed back at the start, trailed for most, took to the outside of the lane to go by faders. LEXINGTON PIKE raced off the pace along the inside, never threatened. GOLD LUCK got bumped out at the start, found a close up position three wide before the turn, was roused about the three eighths marker but lacked a response and weakened in the stretch. MIKE'S MAGIC sat just behind the pace setter, was asked at the three eighths to make a move but came up empty.
