Footnotes
CARTRIDGE was bumped inward at the start, trailed up the backstretch while receiving some light taps, nudged along two wide through the turn to close some ground, angled out four wide entering the stretch to begin his rally, took aim at the leader and closed in well under left handed encouragement to get up while hopping the shadows at the wire. JUST YOU BABY broke inward to bump CARTRIDGE at the start, chased the pace up the backstretch in the two path, shifted out three wide in the far turn and began nudging along around the seven-sixteenths, closed in to contest the pace in the upper stretch and took charge at the eighth pole, kept on under a drive but got nailed right at the wire. ISLAND PAL broke on top to show the way along the inside, continued along in hand before meeting a challenge from JUST YOU BABY around the quarter-pole and began fighting back, ultimately gave way at the eighth-pole and flattened out. MO'S LAW stalked the early pace setter two wide, received some shoulder taps around the five-eighths pole before coming under heavy urging at the three-eighths pole yet had no response to give, trailed in the upper stretch and shifted out three wide to continue his retreat.
