EPIC STYLE brushed with CIVETTA at the start, settled at the rear, moved from the inside to the three path on the turn, was roused outside the five-sixteenths pole, came out to the five path into upper stretch, rallied outside into the final furlong and closed strongly to get up in the final strides and narrowly prevail. CUPIDS CRUSH became restless in the gate when her outside neighbor was fractious, came away in good order and went straight to the front, was well rated on the inside, responded well when asked near the quarter-pole, was put to a right-handed crop outside the furlong marker, switched to a left-handed crop outside the sixteenth-pole, led until the final strides but was denied while clear for the place. WIND FLOWER stalked the pace on the outside without cover, went around the turn in the two path, was given her cue at the five-sixteenths pole, chased the leader under a drive in the stretch and was out-kicked while just able to get the show. SOMNIUM was fractious in the gate, established a good position just off the pace, was urged along outside the nine-sixteenths pole, saved ground on the turn, pursued the leader under a drive in the stretch and just missed the show. SPIRITED BOSS became restless in the gate when SOMNIUM was fractious, settled nicely off the pace, went around the turn in the three path, was roused outside the five-sixteenths pole, dropped back while remaining on her inside lead in upper stretch, swapped to the proper lead inside the three-sixteenths pole and lacked the needed response. CIVETTA brushed with EPIC STYLE at the start, was taken in hand early then reserved off the pace, went around the turn in the two then three path while roused and failed to threaten. OVERSUBSCRIBED (GB) tracked the leader on the outside of that foe without cover, dropped back near the nine-sixteenths pole, was roused in the two path on the turn and failed to respond.
