GRATEFULLY broke on top and settled along the rail nearing the five-eighths pole, continued as the clear leader through the turn and began asking in the upper stretch, entered an all out drive for the final furlong to hold off the late on-comer. JODY'S PRIDE settled along the inside to be covered up by the leader, continued along patiently until the lane to her outside opened up at the quarter-pole where she made a two wide move, clawed away at the leading margin down the lane but was ultimately held at bay. VIVE VEUVE brushed with inner foe at the start, backed off to trail before entering the turn, floated out three wide in the upper stretch to begin her drive until repositioning along the rail for the final furlong, kept on to get the bob for the show award. LOVE CERVERE brushed the outside of the gate at the start, trailed in the early stages before moving up to find cover two wide entering the far turn, continued in hand through the turn until taking to the outside nearing the quarter and produced an improving effort in the stretch. CAPTURING stumbled leaving the gate and brushed with outer foe, raced off the pace along the inside, shifted into the two path entering the lane and began to flatten along her left lead, finally switched leads nearing the sixteenth-pole but was unable to make any headway. ABIENTOT tracked the pace three wide under no cover, lacked the necessary response to the rider's urging in the stretch and got swallowed up in the final stages. ASHIKIDAH (FR) settled off the pace between runners, waited for ABIENTOT to be clear in order to tip out six wide rounding the far turn, made some minor improvements in the upper stretch before flattening out late. TABLE FLIRT shadowed the pace setter two wide in the early stages, began asking nearing the five-sixteenths but was unable to give a response and retreated down the lane.
