GROUND SUPPORT tracked the pace on the inside of an opponent, drafted inside on the turn, was asked at the five-sixteenths pole, rallied in the two path into the stretch, took over before the three-sixteenths pole then kicked clear and proved much the best under strong urging. SNAPPY COMEBACK was hustled from the gate, brushed with NEW ROSE inside the eleven-sixteenths pole, was rated off the pace, went around the turn in the two to three path, bumped with BRANDY AND ME outside the furlong marker, was asked for her best in upper stretch and improved to get the place. NEW ROSE brushed with SNAPPY COMEBACK inside the eleven-sixteenths pole, was rated off the pace, tracked in the four path on the turn, was given her cue near the five-sixteenths pole, chased under a drive in the stretch and lacked the needed kick but narrowly earned the show. EMBLAZE angled in while settling at the rear, saved ground on the turn, moved to the three path outside the quarter-pole, turned into the stretch in the four path, moved further out around the three-sixteenths pole and improved to just miss the show. PEPPERMINT TWIST settled towards the rear, moved from the two path to the four path on the turn, came into the stretch in the five path and failed to threaten. BRANDY AND ME broke in and hit the gate then was taken up, moved up then was rated under restraint, dropped back with a half-mile to run, raced inside to the two path on the turn, bumped with SNAPPY COMEBACK outside the three-eighths pole. PARIS CARVER showed speed then set the pace, raced inside on the turn, was asked near the quarter-pole, lost the advantage to the winner in upper stretch and gave way. SPIRIT DOLL broke out a tad, stalked the pace on the outside then in the three path on the turn, made a bid with three furlongs to run, was asked at the five-sixteenths pole, dropped back in upper stretch and came up empty.
