MATERIAL GIRL brushed with a foe at the start, climbed into kickback when SUNSHINE LILY dropped in front near the eleven-sixteenths pole, held a good striking position in the three then four path on the turn, was asked near the five-sixteenths pole, rallied to make a bid in upper stretch, dueled inside of the runner-up into the final sixteenth and proved best under strong urging. LIBERTY'S SECRET broke awkwardly then brushed with a foe and dropped back, settled at the rear, gained while going from the three path to the five path on the turn, rallied to make an outside bid into upper stretch, dueled outside of the winner into the final sixteenth and missed while clear for the place. MISS AMERICAN PIE tracked the pace on the outside, ranged up in the four then three path on the turn, made a bid with three furlongs to run, dropped back under a drive in upper stretch and earned the place while no match for the top two. SUNSHINE LILY was rated off the pace, moved in near the eleven-sixteenths pole, drafted in the two then three path on the turn, was roused late on that bend, turned into upper stretch under a drive and lacked the needed response. FURRY FOX showed speed then set the pace, dropped from the two path to the inside on the turn, was asked outside five-sixteenths pole, lost the advantage into upper stretch and tired. PRINCESS WADADLI brushed with a rival at the start, raced just behind the leader, saved ground on the turn, was given her cue at the five-sixteenths pole then bumped with CENTRAL TO SUCCESS and came up empty. K GUN was hustled from the gate, raced well back in the field, angled from the inside to the four path on the turn, came into upper stretch in the six path and failed to threaten. CENTRAL TO SUCCESS stalked the pace on the outside of the leader, chased in the three then two path on the turn, bumped with PRINCESS WADADLI while dropping back near the five-sixteenths pole and faltered.
