LION LAKE (IRE) was brushed between runners at the start and was the early trailer, made steady progress three wide through the turn, received her cue to make a five wide move at the top of the stretch, brushed with GREEN SENSE in the upper portion before moving up alongside the leader, rubbed shoulders with LIFE'S DYNAMIC inside the final sixteenth and fought on to edge by in the final jumps. LIFE'S DYNAMIC was bumped by outer foe at the start and still took charge along the inside, began asking in the upper stretch, began to drift out a bit in the final furlong before being met by LION LAKE, fought that rival shoulder to shoulder inside the final sixteenth but was ultimately bested. HARK THEANGELSSING found the middle of the pack between runners in the early stages, ranged up through the turn to find position just behind the pace entering the stretch, claimed the rail at the three-sixteenths while not yet fully clear of FLOWERHEAD and continued her rally for the show award. FLOWERHEAD (IRE) was off a step slow, raced off the inside and trailed entering the turn, took a slight hold at the seven-sixteenths as PILLAR OF BEAUTY steadied ahead of her, moved between runners to finish up the turn before taking the inside in the stretch, got checked back by HARK THEANGELSSING at the three sixteenths but kept on. CAROLYNCAROLINE bobbled slightly leaving the gate and brushed with outer foe, seemed keen to chase the pace along the inside until coming under a loose rein at the five-sixteenths, shifted out into the two path at the top of the lane but was unable to pose a closing bid. PILLAR OF BEAUTY broke inward and bumped rival, raced off the pace along the inside, began nudging along inside the half before being steadied at the seven-sixteenths and trailed by the three-eighths, took to the outside at the top of the stretch, brushed with EPIC LADY LUCK inside the final furlong and kept on to improve. GREEN SENSE (IRE) was off slowly, found the middle of the pack under no cover three wide, coaxed along through the turn for a competitive position entering the stretch, brushed with LION LAKE in the upper stretch and lacked the late kick needed to close. CATALONIA press the pace two wide in the early stages, came under a drive at the five-sixteenths into a three wide spot at the top of the lane and faded from there. EPIC LADY LUCK brushed with inner foe at the start, settled off the pace between runners, shifted three wide at the five-sixteenths and six wide at the top of the lane, was unable to form a rally and brushed with PILLAR OF BEAUTY as she tired. AMICABLE FARCE found cover in a forward position two wide, began asking at the three-eighths before being pinched back at the quarter-pole, came up empty in the stretch. R SLEW OF CASH stumbled leaving the gate losing the rider, boarded the equine ambulance after the race to be transported off. FOLLOWING THE RACE, A STEWARDS' INQUIRY WAS POSTED TO REVIEW THE START OF R SLEW OF CASH WHICH RESULTED IN NO CHANGE. A RIDER'S OBJECTION WAS THEN LODGED BY THE RIDER OF FLOWERHEAD ON THE RIDER OF HARK THEANGELSSING CLAIMING INTERFERENCE IN THE UPPER STRETCH WHICH RESULTED IN NO CHANGE.
