ILENAS KAZ WAY bumped with BADIANE at the start, was reserved under a snug hold while off the inside, went around the turn in the two path while still under restraint, was let out some while shifting to the four path into the stretch, tipped out a path near the furlong marker then rallied on the outside, bumped with EMPRESS NEW GROOVE outside the sixteenth-pole, took the lead shortly thereafter and prevailed at big odds. AMENDED DREAMER prompted the pace on the outside without cover, vied in the two then three path on the turn, took the lead just inside the three-eighths pole, was asked near the quarter-pole then came under a drive in upper stretch, led until near the sixteenth-pole then was overtaken but was clear for the place. AKADEMY LADY (IRE) was well placed while rated just off the pace on the inside, moved to the two path near the quarter-pole, raced behind traffic in upper stretch, was asked while finding room between horses coming to the furlong marker and lacked the needed kick while just up for the show. OATH bumped with BADIANE at the start, was reserved under a tight hold, saved ground on the turn, was stymied behind horses in upper stretch, moved out while still blocked just inside the furlong marker, dropped in and was asked while finally finding room inside the sixteenth-pole and improved to just miss the show while losing all chance at victory. EMPRESS NEW GROOVE hit the outside of the gate, tracked outside without cover, made a bid near the seven-sixteenths pole, vied outside of two opponents in the three then four path on the turn, was given her cue near the quarter-pole, battled outside under a drive into the final furlong, bumped with the winner while dropping back outside the sixteenth-pole and weakened. MAGNUM'S MICROBRST was rated just off the pace, drafted in the two path on the turn, spun into the stretch in the three path, waited in traffic passing the three-sixteenths pole, moved out for clear room around the furlong marker and lacked the needed kick. BADIANE (FR) bumped with rivals on both sides at the start, was reserved near the back, went around most of the turn in the two path then shifted to the three path, swung out to the five path into the stretch and failed to respond. TRES LECHES went to the front then showed the way, raced inside on the turn, was asked with three furlongs to run then lost the advantage, dropped back under a drive in upper stretch and gave way. SAINT TROPEZ was rated in the middle of the field, rounded the turn in the three path, was roused in the five path into the stretch, swapped back to her inside lead when carried out path near the furlong marker and came up empty. ONE BAD HABIT angled in towards the rear, settled with cover, was urged along in the three path for most of the turn then moved to the four path, drifted in under a right-handed crop in upper stretch and failed to threaten.
