ONTARIO got bumped and pinched back at the start by the outwards breaking MISCHIEF IN MOTION and in turn bumped STARSHIP ATHENA into MIWA creating a chain of bumps out through GRAYOSH, saved ground near the rear of the field patiently handled until placed to coaxing nearing the quarter pole, got set down angled three wide into upper stretch, rallied to take command a furlong out, edged clear to the finish. MIWA (GB) got bumped at the start and pinched back by STARSHIP ATHENA due to pressure from MISCHIEF IN MOTION breaking outwards, settled just off the inside at the tail of the field patiently handled until placed to light urging near the quarter pole, angled six wide into upper stretch let out for the drive, came in under an active right rein brushing and placing STARSHIP ATHENA in tight between foes, rallied to take command inside the three-sixteenths, got collared at the eighth pole by her barn mate and kept on to preserve the place honors. GRAYOSH got bumped just after the start by MIWA due to pressure inside from MISCHIEF IN MOTION, tracked the pace along the inside coming under coaxing three furlongs out, angled four wide into upper stretch, tipped out slightly just outside the three-sixteenths pole and bumped with STARSHIP ATHENA in tight between foes when MIWA came in slightly at that juncture, then improved position to secure the show honors. MISCHIEF IN MOTION veered out at the start commencing a chain of bumps from ONTARIO out through GRAYOSH pinching out both ONTARIO and MIWA in the process when continuing outwards until corrected just before making contact with GRAYOSH, pressed the leader from the outside two to three paths off the inside, came under coaxing near the quarter pole, swung four wide into upper stretch, remained prominent to the eighth pole, then weakened through to the finish. STARSHIP ATHENA got bumped at the start by ONTARIO due to pressure from MISCHIEF IN MOTION, tracked the front just off the inside coming under a ride three furlongs from home, angled five wide into upper stretch, had GRAYOSH come out slightly as MIWA came in under an active right rein, got bumped inside and brushed outside when briefly in tight between foes just outside the three-sixteenths pole, then tired through to the end. STORM MIAMI (IRE) established the front just after the break when MISCHIEF IN MOTION veered out and carried out the rest of the field, showed the way in hand along the inside under pressure from that rival to the outside, came under urging three furlongs from home, got narrowly displaced from command with five-sixteenths to run, spun just off the inside into upper stretch and tired.
