Footnotes
YAUPON DE REPLAY was last to commence, moved up to settle in the middle of the field, saved ground on the turn, swung out to the four path into upper stretch then rallied on the outside, closed strongly to get the lead outside the sixteenth-pole then went clear under strong urging to prevail. DI NATALE (CHI) angled in while going to the front then showed the way, raced inside on the turn, responded well when asked at the quarter-pole, led until outside the sixteenth-pole then was overtaken while just able to get the place. VAJRA was well spotted just off the pace between horses, gained to make a bid in the three path on the turn, battled under a drive into the final furlong and was out-kicked then just missed the place but was clear for the show. MEZCAL MAMA was reserved off the pace, steadied outside the nine-sixteenths pole, went around the turn in the two path, was asked for her best in upper stretch and improved to just get the last spot in the superfecta. ONLY FOR NOW was well placed just off the pace, raced under a tight hold just behind the leader passing the nine-sixteenths pole, drafted inside on the turn, was asked near the quarter-pole and lacked the needed kick. APORIA raced just off the pace on the outside, was asked in the three path on the turn, chased into upper stretch and weakened. CODE settled on the outside, moved in at the nine-sixteenths pole, went around the turn in the two then three path, came into the stretch in the four path and lacked the needed response. QUEEN JUNO broke out and bumped with BETTE DAVIS EYES, established a forward position between horses, went around the turn in the two then three path, came out to the five path while dropping back into upper stretch and tired. COME TO MAMA bumped with foes on both sides at the start then was pinched back, settled near the rear, rounded the turn in the three path, spun into the stretch in the four path and failed to threaten. BETTE DAVIS EYES (IRE) bumped with opponents on both sides at the start, settled towards the rear, saved ground on the turn and was no factor. ONE MORE GUITAR dropped back then settled at the rear, went around the turn in the three then four path, came out to the six path into the stretch and failed to respond. ONE LAST KNOCK bumped with COME TO MAMA at the start, settled off the pace, was roused in the three path on the turn, turned into the stretch in the five path and had mothing left.
