PARTY IN THE ARMY angled in while going to the front, moved clear near the five-eighths pole then dropped to the inside, controlled the action through the turn, responded well when set down in upper stretch then came under the crop, remained clear into the final sixteenth and held under strong urging. WHAT'S UP BRO brushed with MASTER FREUD at the start then was hustled, pressed the pace on the inside of the winner, dropped back with five furlongs to run then switched out, chased in the two then three path on the turn, dropped further behind the leader while drifting out on his inside lead in upper stretch, swapped to the proper lead outside the sixteenth-pole, gained on the winner late but missed while clear for the place. VEKINDA was sent hard from the start then chased the pace, went around the turn in the three to four path, drifted out in upper stretch, kept on in the final furlong and safely secured the show. ELYSIAN MEADOWS dropped back while ridden along, went around the turn in the three then four path, came out to the seven path into upper stretch and improved for the last spot in the superfecta. ONEBIGBEAUTFULBILL was urged along off the pace, rounded the turn in the three path, was driven into upper stretch in the five path and lacked the needed response. B THEDONALD was off slow and spotted the front a few lengths, raced at the rear under urging, went around the turn in the four then five path, came into upper stretch in the six path and was no factor. TRUMAN'S COMMANDER was urged along off the pace, traveled around the turn in the four path, spun into the stretch in the six path then dropped in and failed to threaten. MASTER FREUD brushed with WHAT'S UP BRO at the start, chased the pace, went around most of the turn in the two path then dropped to the inside and faltered.
