CAPITOL HILL settled well back in the field, saved ground on the turn, angled out in upper stretch, rallied outside into the final furlong and closed strongly to get up in the final sixteenth and prevail. FOND FAREWELL stalked the pace on the outside, engaged the leader in the two path on the turn, took the lead coming to the quarter-pole, responded well when asked for his best in upper stretch, led into the final sixteenth but was caught while able to hold the place. GIOCOSO was reserved near the middle of the field, raced under tight restraint late on the backstretch, was asked in the two then three path on the turn, came into the stretch in the four path, gained to make a bid outside the furlong marker, battled into the final sixteenth and was outfinished while clear for the show. RUNNIN' ROCKET settled towards the front, drafted in the path on the turn, shifted to the three path into the stretch, chased the leader in the drive and lacked the needed kick while just able to get the last spot in the superfecta. SILIUS (IRE) settled on the outside, rounded the turn in the three path, shifted to the five path into the stretch and lacked the needed response. CHASING LIBERTY was hustled from the gate, settled on the outside, ranged up in the three path on the turn, made a bid at the five-sixteenths pole, battled under a drive into the final furlong and weakened. GAS ME UP was squeezed back at the start, tossed his head and steadied between horses near the five-eighths pole, angled from the two path to the five path on the turn, came into the stretch in the seven path and failed to threaten. PIPER'S FACTOR was well placed just off the pace, saved ground on the turn and came up empty. WE'RE IN TROUBLE settled off the pace, moved from the inside to the two path on the turn, spun into the stretch in the four path and failed to rally. INTELLECT (FR) brushed with a foe after the start, settled towards the back, rounded the turn in the two then three path, came out to the five path into the stretch and was no factor. ALOGON settled off the pace, saved ground on the turn and failed to respond. SPICED UP settled towards the rear, raced in the four path on the turn, turned into the stretch in the six path and never reached contention. BONUS MOVE broke in at the start, went to the front then showed the way, vied inside on the turn, lost the lead nearing the quarter-pole and gave way. ROSE RULER brushed with a rival after the start, raced in the two path on the turn and showed little.
