BLACK MOUNTAIN two to three paths off the inside down the backstretch in pursuit from mid pack, tucked to the two path through the turn and remained patiently handled until set down angled three to four wide into upper stretch, rallied to take command outside the three-sixteenths pole, then drew clear under a drive to prevail. GLOBAL INVESTMENT (GB) prompted the leader from the outside in the two path coming under coaxing nearing the three-eighths marker, spun three wide into upper stretch, proved no match for the top one and kept on clear of the rest to be along second best. MISS SNAFFLES tracked the pace along the inside coming under urging with seven-sixteenths to go, angled three to four wide for home and weakened in the final furlong while just getting up for the show honors on the wire. FANGO CREEK hustled from the gate, showed the way in hand along the inside under some pressure from GLOBAL INVESTMENT to the outside, came under encouragement with five-sixteenths to go, spun just off the inside into upper stretch, got overhauled outside the three-sixteenths pole and weakened. MANANA ISLAND chased just off the inside and then along the inside coming under coaxing with seven-sixteenths to run, tipped back to the two path three furlongs out, angled five wide into upper stretch and weakened. SKY CHART off half a beat slow, veered in at the start and tossed her head rank against the rider's correction, chased two to three wide from near the rear of the field, continued two to three wide into upper stretch and tired.
