SUMMER BROTHER went to the front, showed the way with a clear advantage, raced inside on the turn, responded well when asked at the quarter-pole, drew off under a strong hand-ride into the final furlong then came under a left-handed crop and held under strong urging. HETCH HETCHY settled outside without cover, was given cover outside the three-quarter pole, went around the turn in the three path under urging, came into upper stretch in the five path and gained willingly to secure the place. THE WRATH OF DAVID settled off the pace, was asked in the four path on the turn, pursued the leader under a drive in the stretch and lacked the needed kick while able to get the show. IRON CONFESSOR settled off the pace, was urged along in the two path on the turn, turned into upper stretch under a drive and also lacked the needed kick while just able to get the last spot in the superfecta. PROPER JACK broke in and brushed the gate, tracked the pace on the outside, was urged along late on the backstretch, chased in the three then two path on the turn and lacked the needed response. RIDDLE ME THIS was bumped at the start, dropped in with about seven furlongs to run, settled under some urging, moved from the inside to the two path on the turn, angled out in upper stretch and failed to threaten. TICKET TO FAME broke in then was bumped at the start, established a good position just off the pace, saved ground on the turn and came up empty. BARTOLITO broke out and bumped with RIDDLE ME THIS, settled near the back, was asked in the four path on the turn, moved to the three path into the stretch and failed to respond.
