BLETCHLEY chased just off the inside down the backstretch and then four wide through the turn, got let out spinning four wide into upper stretch, seized command straightened away and drew clear under a light drive, then got ridden out lightly through to the finish. D. C.'S ARMY three paths off the inside in pursuit from just off the pace down the backstretch, tucked inside through the turn coming under urging three furlongs out, cut the corner into upper stretch, proved no match for the top one while running on to just get up for the place honors in the last jumps to the finish. LOUISIANA BABY broke on top despite awkwardly getting into stride when lunging and then bobbling, raced seven to eight paths off the rail showing the way down the backstretch, darted to the two path into the turn and remained patiently handled until placed to coaxing with five-sixteenths to run, spun just off the inside into upper stretch, yielded the front straightened away and weakened in the late stages. OYAKATA broke in at the start bumping LE PATRON into JOVEN, then bumped JOVEN, race six paths off the inside down the backstretch and then three wide through the turn, tipped three to four wide into upper stretch and tired. LE PATRON got bumped at the start by the aforementioned foe and in turn bumped JOVEN, chased four paths off the inside down the backstretch and then just off the inside through the turn under prolonged coaxing from the half mile pole, angled three to four wide into upper stretch and tired. JOVEN got bumped at the start by LE PATRON due to pressure from OYAKATA, then got bumped by that rival himself, chased four then three wide under urging from the seven-sixteenths pole, angled five to six wide into upper stretch and faltered in the drive.
